Officers Chris Beauchamp and Orit Samson stopped a driver for an equipment violation. The driver, who lives on the 100 block of Sears, was unlicensed. He was cited and his 1996 Plymouth was towed. Case #090740523

Officers Thomas Ly and Lori Peltier stopped a vehicle for expired registration. They conducted an investigation and found that the driver was in possession of a large amount of marijuana . The resident of Oakland was arrested on three narcotics charges. Case #090740573
07/21/09 8:30 am 200 block of 2nd Avenue
Officers Jamie Hyun, Scott Biggs and Chris Oshita conducted an investigation into a fugitive that led them to the 200 block of 2nd Avenue. They located the fugitive there and arrested him on a felony assault warrant. Case #090295443
07/21/09 2:00 pm 1600 block of 19th Avenue
Numerous Taraval officers responded to an address on the 1600 block of 19th avenue where a man had gone to a residence, attempted to batter his way through a gate and had threatened a woman with bodily harm and also threatened to destroy her automobile. The suspect left in a vehicle north on 19th avenue. Offcer Henry Ha, the Irving Street foot officer, spotted the suspect in the vehicle parked on the 1900 block of Irving. He detained the suspect, who was subsequently identified by the victim. The suspect, who lives on Locksley, was arrested for criminal threats and for possession of suspected methamphetamine. Officer Michael Mitchell stopped a driver for operating a vehicle with extremely loud music emanating from the vehicle. The driver, who lives on the 900 block of Judah, was driving with a suspended license. He was cited and his 2003 Chevrolet was towed. Case #090741046

Officers Nanci Stockwell and Erik Maher went to Macy’s store where security were holding three shoplifters. The officers arrested three suspects from San Mateo and San Francisco for theft. Case #090742369
