07/09/09 1:22 pm 100 block of Margaret
Officers Richard Austria, Joseph Everson and Sgt. Dennis Callaghan observed a suspicious man loitering and making furtive movements. When they stopped to talk to him he took narcotics paraphernalia from his mouth and threw it under a vehicle. The officers investigated and found the man in possession of suspected crack cocaine. The resident of the first block of Farallones was arrested. Case #090697833
07/09/09 6:00 pm 300 block of Arballo
Officers Scott Biggs and Chris Oshita were alerted to a marijuana “grow” in an apartment on the 300 block of Arballo. Preliminary investigation revealed strong evidence of the operation. The officers obtained a search warrant. Sgt. Robert Padrones as well as Officers Juan Gala, Jose Guardado, Duane Elzey, and Ronald Choy assisted in the execution of the search warrant. The officers confiscated marijuana, lamps, fans, digital scales and other items corroborating a marijuana growing operation. The resident was arrested. Case #090698897

Officers Daniel Taft and Mari Noguchi stopped a driver for a registration violation. The driver, who lives on the 2000 block of Judah, was driving with a suspended license. She was cited and her vehicle towed. Case #090699243

Officer Richard Cibotti stopped a driver for a red light violation. The driver, who lives in Hayward, was driving with a suspended license. He was cited and his 1986 Toyota was towed. Case #090699607
