07/13/09 3:50 am 1000 block of Ocean
Officers Wayne Wong and Peterkent DeJesus responded to Ocean avenue on a belligerent drunk call. They encountered the suspect, who violently resisted arrest and tried to kick out the police car window. The resident of the first block of Willard was arrested on three charges. Case #090710786

07/13/09 8:11 am Taraval and 37th Avenue

A man and a woman were riding a municipal railway light rail vehicle when a fellow passenger approached them, ripped the earphones from the woman’s Ipod and then fled the vehicle to the street. The victim and her boyfriend followed the suspect but he threw the earphones to the ground and ran away. Officers Sam Martin, Maria Donati, Imran Shakur and Randy Ly responded to the area searching for the suspect. Officer Martin spotted the robbery suspect walking on the median near St. Ignatius High School. When the suspect saw the officer he quickened his pace and attempted to hide under parked cars. As the officer closed in on the suspect, the suspect spontaneously stated, “I didn’t take that lady’s head phones”. The suspect was captured and identified. The suspect, who lives on the 800 block of Pacific, was arrested for robbery. Case #090710946

07/13/09 7:46 pm 2200 block of 29th Avenue
Officers Christina Pena, Patrice Scanlan and Nanci Stockwell went to a notorious address on 29th avenue where a man had struck his girlfriend. One suspect was arrested for assault and the other for violating a restraining order. Case #090713906

07/13/09 9:20 pm 1800 block of Vicente
Officers Christina Pena, Patrice Scanlan, Nanci Stockwell and Sgt. Paul Weggenmann responded to the 1800 block of Vicente where a resident had struck and falsely imprisoned a counselor. The officers arrested the juvenile and took him to the Juvenile Justice Center. Case #090713354

07/13/09 10:50 pm 900 block of Darien
Officers Andrew Bryant and Timothy Whatley went to an address on Darien where a neighbor had been sending threatening emails in violation of a restraining order. The suspect was arrested. Case #090710134
