The Chronicle says “thousands” gathered in the Civic Center area for Saturday’s global day of action demonstration in support of the Iranian people.

Friend of the Appeal Steve Rhodes was there, and captured these photos. He also reminds us that Saturday’s event wasn’t the only way to get involved: Raising Our Voices for Iran, “an afternoon of readings and music,” is Sunday from 2-4:30 at Intersection for the Arts.

A $10 donation’s requested, all the details are here.
