Three adults and a child were found safe on Treasure Island this morning after their boat began taking on water in the Bay, a Coast Guard officer said.

The Coast Guard received word around 11:30 a.m. that the boat was taking on water just north of the island, Petty Officer Ryan Roberts said.

The group was found safe on land at about 11:55 a.m.

Fire Lt. Mindy Talmadge said a police marine unit located the four people and that none required medical attention.

The boat is being towed by a police marine unit to Clipper Cove, Roberts said.
