UPDATE: Here’s ABC7 and the Examiner on the explosion and fire that delayed three Muni lines this morning. Oh and the Chronicle manages to get in on the game at 12:35. Already psyched to see the fabulous, crease free, full color photos in Wednesday or Thursday’s paper.

UPDATE: Muni tells us “As of 11:50 a.m., the problem below has cleared and all affected routes have resumed normal service.” We never saw anything on 511, did you? What the heck, Muni?

Muni’s telling us that the 30 Stockton, the 45 Union-Stockton, and the 9X Bayshore Express are experiencing delays due to SFFD activity at 4th and Market. They say “Shuttle buses will serve 30 and 45 customers south of Post Street and the 9X is being re-routed” and inform us that “Fourth Street between Market and Mission is reportedly closed to all traffic.” We’ll tell you more when we know more.

Once again, we must note that there has been no alert sent out by 511 or Muni’s RSS. So, sorry, folks.
