If you’re a really good person, you never keep your library books past the due date. If you’re a decent person, you returned them as soon as the SFPL started its fine amnesty program on May 3. If you’re like this correspondent, your library books are still sitting by the door, waiting to be returned to the library you drive past at least twice a day.

Well, cut that shit out, because the fine amnesty period ends tomorrow, May 16. You, I, we have no excuse. Do it tonight.
