I’m confused. I guess Mark Morford was fumbling under the hood of his car when he saw a big, green, retro van of some sort, but first he saw two dogs in the car. Mark and the dogs had a moment. Then, Mark thought about his life and how he is soooo not the kind of dude who would listen to Chuck Berry and wear baggy jeans and he’s happy that he’s not but it could be him if he was someone else! Couldn’t we all be someone else? Isn’t everything just, so random? Yes, all those italics are necessary.Chron
