bio-mark_morford.jpgIn opinion pieces on May 8th: Mark Morford’s existential ramblings and Jed Kolko’s neither-here-nor-there article on CA economics confuse me. But, I now comprehend the complicated idea that some people want to legalize pot and some do not.

I’m confused. I guess Mark Morford was fumbling under the hood of his car when he saw a big, green, retro van of some sort, but first he saw two dogs in the car. Mark and the dogs had a moment. Then, Mark thought about his life and how he is soooo not the kind of dude who would listen to Chuck Berry and wear baggy jeans and he’s happy that he’s not but it could be him if he was someone else! Couldn’t we all be someone else? Isn’t everything just, so random? Yes, all those italics are necessary.Chron

Paradoxically, I really want him to use that for his Chronicle photo.

I have no other comments about the stories.
