Update: Curbed SF‘s Andy Wang reminds us that at the February 5 planning commission meeting where AA got the boot, their spokesperson said the space was about 2100 square feet. So, getting out the calculator, that means $1,575 more bucks a month. You a local biz with 9K+ to spend on rent a month? If so, we tip our collective hat to you.

Update: The property manager left us a message, saying the space is $7500 a month, plus triple net of 75 cents per square foot. Of course, he didn’t say how many square feet there are, so we called him back. We’ll let you know when we do, but, damn. That is a lot of money, especially in this economy.

Mission Mission tipped us off to the hottest new rental offering on Valencia Street — the location of what was to be the latest American Apparel (slumpy!) location in our City. (You know the story.)

We love our office, but that doesn’t mean we wouldn’t move if the price was right. How hilarious would it be to tell people Stephen Elliot (indirectly) got us our new home base? So, we called that number and left a message.

We kid, but we’re seriously going to update when we know how much that space is going for. Until then, what do you think could and should go in there? What will keep those fragile folks at ATA safe, while still being able to pay the (can’t wait for that call back!) rent?
