Who among us can
honestly say we’ve never disposed of an electronic device, ahem,
inappropriately?  OK, we’re pretty sure that many of you have in fact
led lives of perfect post-consumer behavior.  For the rest of us, there
is still hope.

This Saturday Goodwill’s doing what they can to help us all be more conscientious
recyclers
.  Between 9 am and 2 pm you can bring all of your used
electronics
to the Whole Foods at the corner of California and Franklin.  Goodwill accepts “all
electronics, working or not and regardless of brand or age”.  Time to
lose those vintage cell phones to fund local job training programs–
something we need a lot of in this economy.  Whole Foods also says  “after you drop off your stuff enjoy the local vendor fair. We will have all kinds of food to sample!” You know what else we need in this economy?  Free samples!

Free some space, get some snacks, and feel
good too– sounds like the perfect Saturday activity.
